Perkins Board Of Education Launches Superintendent Search
The Perkins Local Schools Board of Education has launched a search for the school district’s next superintendent.
At its meeting on Wednesday, October 11, the Board voted unanimously to hire North Point Educational Service Center to recruit candidates to lead the district.
Board President Eric Lapata said the Board members expect the application window to open this fall and candidate interviews to begin in January. North Point representatives will guide the search process, and interviews will be conducted and hosted by the Board.
“We would love to have the candidate in place by March 1,” Mr. Lapata said.
Superintendent Todd Boggs retired from Perkins Schools on July 31, and was rehired on a one-year contract through July 31, 2024.
