6U Baseball Fall League To Start In August

A new fall baseball league will launch later this month for youngsters 6-years-old and younger who attend Perkins Local Schools or reside in Perkins Township.

The 6U Fall Baseball league officially begins with the first practice on Thursday, August 22, and the first game on Thursday, August 29. The season will be seven weeks long with six games.

The deadline to register is Tuesday, August 13. All teams will be randomly selected after registration. The cost for registration is $45. To register, click here or the button below.

All games will be an hour each Thursday, with games starting at 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Games will be played at Speer Field at Strickfaden Park and Briar Middle School. 

Each batter will receive five pitches to hit the ball, if the ball is not hit within the five pitches, a tee will be utilized. The score will not be kept, and no outs will be recorded during the games.
Each athlete will receive a T-shirt to use for games and can keep at the end of the season. An athlete may use his or her own equipment; if equipment is needed, it will be provided. 

A liability waiver will be emailed to each registrant and must be completed before the first practice.
